Burgerliche Ersparniskasse a Switzerland based Saving Bank in Bern approached Romtec – a technology company in Switzerland for upgrading their old website to the latest version of TYPO3 i.e. version 8.7.x. Since SoftSolutions4U has a wide customer base in Switzerland, and are well aware of quality standards expected, Romtec decided to collaborate with SoftSolutions4U for Typo3 website erstellen which mean TYPO3 website creation. Though it is a TYPO3 version upgrade, it was literally a new website creation i.e. Typo3 website erstellen, since the HTM, CSS, extension all needed to be recreated, reconfigured to upgrade the website TYPO3 version 8.7.x.

1. New upgraded TYPO3 website needed to be created as an extension
The apparently simple task of upgrading a TYPO3 website to TYPo3 version 8.7.x has many predicaments. We had create a TypoScript to implement sub-navigation under Main navigation. Pages like Akutell, Kinti and Hypotheken had a boxed design. So we created Create teaser boxes of the pages with links to the respective pages.2. Search and Advanced Search
The Search for had to be redesigned and new functionality added. We designed the ‘Advance Search’ form had The ‘Search Result’ layout pages. Search Result Bread crumb navigation also needed to be designed.3. Implementing Banner in Responsive view
The banner had multiple images and slider. This needed to be made responsive across devices. Moreover normal header and sticky Header had to be made responsive.4. Result
